How to order my Maestro card?

 

ℹ️ Only applies to Germany, Austria and the Netherlands

You need our German, Austrian or Dutch Terms & Conditions to order a Maestro card. Just login to your account and go to:

  1. Cards
  2. Tap: Get an additional Card
  3. Then tap: Maestro
  4. Then tap Choose to order the card

The Maestro card is free of charge only for Woohoo Pay Smart, Woohoo Pay You and Woohoo Pay Metal customers, while it costs 10€ for Woohoo Pay Standard customers.

When will my card arrive?

 

Standard delivery takes up to 15 business days and is free of charge if it’s your first card after opening the account (except for Woohoo Pay Standard*) or upgrading to a premium membership. In rural or harder-to-reach areas it can take longer. To stay up-to-date on the delivery progress simply go to the home screen of your Woohoo Pay mobile app.

Express delivery takes up to 3 working days and comes with an additional fee of 20€. In addition to the banner on the home screen of your Woohoo Pay mobile app, you will also receive an email with a tracking link to stay up-to-date on the progress of your card delivery. Please wait until the estimated delivery time has elapsed before taking further action. Your first card after opening the account or upgrading to a premium membership is always free. For the following ones, a replacement fee may apply.

 

How to make sure my card is on it’s way?

 

  1. You need to verify your identity when opening an Woohoo Pay account. Please be sure you have completed this process by logging into your account. Once this process is complete your account is activated and in order to receive your card, you will need to top up your account. The amount you need to top up your account by is dependent on your membership type (e.g. Standard, Woohoo Pay You etc.). You can see more details in number 3 below.
  • Check your shipping details. In case your details are incorrect, please update them directly in the mobile app: 👤 My Account > Settings > Personal Settings > Shipping Address.
  • It must be a residential address (businesses are not accepted).
  • Your name must be on the mailbox. If a different name is on the mailbox, please add it to the ‘additional info’ in your mobile app.
  • Enter your postal code without any spaces.
  • If applicable, add your building number, floor number and door code to the ‘additional address info’ in your mobile app.
  • If your address contains special characters then please contact our customer service from within the app.
  • If you’re moving soon please consider the express delivery option and make sure to select the country and address where you’ll move to.

If it is your very first Woohoo Pay card, please open a live chat from within the mobile or web app. If you had an activated card before, please reorder it directly in the app.

3. Your first card after opening your account or upgrading to a Premium membership and reaching a minimum balance is free of charge with Woohoo Pay Smart, You and Metal.

The one-time minimum balance depends on your Premium account type:

  • Woohoo Pay  Smart Account: Minimum 10€
  • Woohoo Pay  You Account: Minimum 9.90€
  • Woohoo Pay  Metal Account: Minimum 16.90€

*For Woohoo Pay Standard it will be a virtual card (unless you decide to order a physical one for 10€). You will only need to reach a minimum balance of 10€ in order to access and activate your virtual Mastercard.  

As soon as your account balance reaches the minimum requirement your Woohoo Pay Premium card will be automatically produced and shipped.

You will be notified in the app via Messages and through a banner on the home screen that will show you the delivery progress. Please note:

  • The one time minimum balance is not a fee but a necessary requirement to trigger the production and delivery of your card.
  • For premium account holders your first monthly fees are charged on the 15th day of your subscription and will be deducted from your account.
  • For express delivery the fee of 20€ will be deducted from your account as soon as the card is shipped. Please make sure that your account balance covers these fees in addition to the one-time minimum balance.

 

How to use my card before it physically arrives?

 

Before the card arrives in the mail you can begin using it through your Apple Pay or Google Pay wallet. This way you can make purchases with your smartphone at merchants who support this payment method. You can learn more about how to use your card digitally.

 

Why didn’t I receive my card within the estimated timeframe?

 

Simply double check the estimated delivery date in the home screen of the Woohoo Pay app or web app. If the estimated delivery date has been exceeded, please contact us via live chat from within the app or web app.

How to order my card with express delivery?

 

Express delivery is a good option if you need your card in a hurry or if postal deliveries have sometimes failed to reach you for whatever reason.

You’ll be given the option to select express delivery when choosing a delivery method for your first card or if you reorder a card. You’ll then receive a tracking link by email. If you’re not home during the delivery and your mailbox can’t be accessed, the card will be left at a nearby access point (you can find it through the provided tracking link). The card only stays at the access point for a limited amount of time. After that, it’ll be returned to us. We’ll inform you by email if that happens.

If you order via express delivery, keep in mind that:

  • Your new Standard, Woohoo Pay You or Woohoo Pay Metal card will be delivered within 2-3 working days.
  • Deliveries take place between 08:00 and 12:00.
  • Deliveries can be made by DHL express to all of our supported countries within Europe. It’s currently not possible to make deliveries to other countries.
  • It’s not possible to cancel or change an express delivery once it’s been selected as the delivery method.
  • If you choose express delivery and wish to close your account, you’ll still need to pay the express delivery fee.

If your card hasn’t arrived within 3-5 working days of placing your order, please check the tracking link for an update. You can also use the tracking link to inform DHL directly about the details of your delivery address or to redirect the shipment if you can’t be there at the time of delivery.

How much does express delivery cost?

  1. Woohoo Pay Standard & Woohoo Pay You cards:
    1. First card when opening your account: 25€
    2. Reordering your card: 30€
    3. Extra Woohoo Pay You card: 25€
  2. Woohoo Pay Metal cards:
    1. First card when opening your account: 25€
    2. Reordering your card 65€

How to reorder a card?

 

If you are already waiting for a card, please wait until the estimated delivery time has elapsed. You can check it on the home screen of your mobile app.

You can request a new card in case yours is lost, broken, stolen or if there is a problem with the sending of your first card.

 

If you need to reorder a card, please check your shipping details: 👤 My Account > Settings > Personal Settings > Shipping Address.

  • It must be a residential address (business addresses are not accepted).
  • Your name must be on the mailbox (If a different name is on the mailbox, please add it to the additional address info in your mobile app).

If your very first Woohoo Pay card did not arrive within the estimated timeframe then please open a live chat from within the mobile or web app and we will help you from there.

If you had an activated card before then follow these steps:

  1. Go to the ‘Home Screen‘ and then ‘Cards’.
  2. From your list of cards, swipe until you see the card you wish to reorder.
  3. Then tap ‘Card Settings’.
  4. Finally, select ‘Reorder‘.

How much does it cost to reorder my card?

 

Standard delivery:

  • Woohoo Pay Standard, Woohoo Pay Smart and Woohoo Pay You cards: 10€
  • Woohoo Pay Metal cards: 45€

Express Delivery:

  • Woohoo Pay Standard and Woohoo Pay You cards: 30€
  • Woohoo Pay Metal: 65€
